Přivlastňovací zájmena: My, Your, His, Her, Its, Our, Their
Přivlastňovací zájmena (possessive adjectives) říkají, komu něco patří.
Jednotné číslo (singular):
my – můj
your – tvůj / váš
his – jeho (pro muže)
her – její
its – jeho (pro zvířata a věci)
Množné číslo (plural):
our – náš
their – jejich
Příklady:
My name is Tom. (Mé jméno je Tom.)
Your car is red. (Tvé/Vaše auto je červené.)
His phone is new. (Jeho telefon je nový.)
Her bag is on the chair. (Její taška je na židli.)
Its tail is long. (Jeho ocas je dlouhý. – např. u psa)
Our house is big. (Náš dům je velký.)
Their children are happy. (Jejich děti jsou šťastné.)
Použití "my" a "our"
My brother is a student. (Můj bratr je student.)
